During our recent family vacation at Gil's Guest Rooms, we found the accommodations to be clean and equipped with essential amenities, including a kettle, fridge, and microwave-perfect for our needs. Located near the serene shores of the Dead Sea, albeit a bit distant from shops and restaurants, the area offered a tranquil environment that our family appreciated. The owner, Sam, was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to assist us, even helping cover a parking ticket we received. His wife provided valuable insights on local attractions, particularly around the therapeutic qualities of the Dead Sea, which was a pleasant surprise. For families traveling without a car, note that the nearest bus stop is about 250 meters away. Despite the location's limitations, we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep, making it a suitable stop for those exploring the area, albeit for a brief stay.
